Dorothy Gertrude Herth Fischer

DOROTHY GERTRUDE HERTH FISCHER, age 93, of Baltimore, MD, died on January 3, 2008 at Ma Maison Senior Assisted Living in Baltimore. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis William and Anna Marie Walrath Herth and wife of the late E. Clifford Fischer. Formerly of Philadelphia, she was a member of Presberry United Methodist Church in Edgewood where she was past president of United Methodist Women. She worked for Dr. E. Louis Kahan at the Edgewood Medical Center in Edgewood, from 1965-1988, where she was the medical secretary.

Mrs. Fischer is survived by two daughters, Dorothy A. Kolb and her husband, James P. Kolb, of Perry Hall, MD and Janet Fischer Cochran of Stewartstown, PA; four grandchildren, Kristine and Lindsey Kolb of Perry Hall, MD, Matthew and Joshua Cochran of Stewartstown, PA; and three great-grandchildren.
