Dorothy E. Hyde

Dorothy Elaine Hyde, age 82, of Bel Air, MD passed away on March 18, 2018 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Born in Hopefield, Canada, she was the youngest of 13 children born to William Simon Buell and Catherine Mary (MacLeod) Buell, and was the wife of the late Alden Wallace Hyde. She had worked at First National Bank in Bel Air. She loved to get together with her friends in the neighborhood, was always the ideal lady, and loved to dance. She also loved gardening, her dogs, and going home to Prince Edward Island in Canada.

Mrs. Hyde is survived by sons, Kevin Alden Hyde of Delta, PA, Gordon Louis Hyde of Harrington, DE, and Brian Lester Hyde of Bel Air; daughters-in-law, Shawn Hyde and Laurie Hyde; grandchildren Erin M Hyde, Kevin D. Hyde, Kyle Alden Hyde, Sarah Carol Hyde, Clinton Douglas Hyde, Matthew Ryan Hyde, Nicholas Alden Hyde and Steven Thomas Hyde; and three sisters residing in Canada. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 9 siblings.
