Dorothy D. Nilles

DOROTHY D. NILLES, age 94, of Forest Hill, died in Citizens Care Center, Havre de Grace on August 14, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine Bender Eberhart and the wife of the late Peter James Nilles who died in 1982. She was a co-owner and operator of Nilles Fruit and Produce in Canton. She was a former resident of Harford Senior Housing before living at Jacobs Well and finally at Citizens Care Center.

Mrs. Nilles is survived by two daughters, Josephine C. Burnett of Wake Forest, North Carolina and Mary Mack of Forest Hill; one sister, Ida Kowalczyk of Baltimore; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Peter P. Nilles and Henry G. Nilles; three sisters, Catherine Walker, Gesine LaBarre, and Marie Jones.
