DOROTHY CATHERINE LOCHTE, 68, of Abingdon died at her home on May 12, 2003. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Francis Edward and Rose Regina Duffy Lochte. She was a resident of Harford County for 10 years. A graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, she had worked as an industrial nurse at Westinghouse and as a human resources manager at GBMC. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Abingdon, where she volunteered. She also had volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club. She was a master gardener.
Miss Lochte is survived by six sisters, Mary E. Allulis of Ellicott City, Rose Marie Lochte of San Diego, California, Carlotta A. Thomas of York, Pennsylvania, Frances J. Lochte of New York, New York, Theresa M. Lochte of Ellicott City and Alice E. Lochte of Carney; a brother, Edward X. Lochte of Timonium; a god-daughter, Patricia Thomas Laemont of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
