Dorothy B. Taylor

Dorothy B. Taylor, age 84, of Whiteford, MD, died on May 5, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bedford, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Daniel and Alma Elizabeth Herron Baber. She came from a large family and was the third of fourteen children who survived birth. She was a member of Mountain Christian Church where she taught Childrens Sunday school classes for 42 years and was a Den Mother for Pack 458 for 15 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, crafts of all kinds and made many wedding cakes. She was also a seamstress for many brides and bridesmaids over the years.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Alfred P. Taylor of Whiteford, MD; sons, A. Jerry Taylor of Bel Air, MD, A. Jeffrey Taylor of West Chester, PA, and Roger K. Taylor of Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren, Sandy J. Kempton and Christian S. Taylor of Forest Hill, MD; Lindsey C. Taylor, Matthew C. Taylor, and William D. Taylor, all of Havre de Grace, MD; Jackie K. Taylor-Thomas of Timonium, MD; seven great-grandchildren and several living brothers and sisters scattered across the United States.

Pallbearers will be A. Jerry Taylor, A. Jeffrey Taylor, Roger K. Taylor, Chris S. Taylor, Matthew C. Taylor, William D. Taylor, William A. Kempton, Jimmy T. Thomas, and Devin C. Taylor.
