Dorothy Antoinette Callanan

July 7, 1917 — February 26, 2006

DOROTHY ANTOINETTE CALLANAN, age 88, of Port Deposit, died at Calvert Manor Nursing Home, Rising Sun, on February 26, 2006. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Mary Jackson Barber Davis and the wife of the late Thomas D. Callanan. A resident of Cecil County since 1990, she moved to Baltimore from Alabama in 1967 and then moved to Port Deposit in 1990. She enjoyed crostics puzzles and going to plays. She loved playing games of chance and belonged to a bridge club at one time.

Mrs. Callanan is survived by four sons, Thomas D. Callanan of Baltimore, MD, Michael J. Callanan of Port Deposit, MD, James P. Callanan of Bristol, VA, and Charles F. Callanan of Tuscaloosa, AL; three sisters, Henrietta Russell of Virginia Beach, VA, Lorraine Howard of Florida, and Shirley Maly of Baltimore; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
