Dorothy Ann Kraft, 96, died peacefully on December 6, 2021, where she was warmly welcomed into eternal glory by many friends and family who had gone before her. She is survived by her daughters, Roxanne Barrow and Missy Leppo (Mark). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jill Gerringer (Tom), Casey Leppo, Danielle Leppo, Debra Barrow (Lisa Braccio), Christine Bowers (Ron), Michael Barrow (Rebekah) and 5 great grandchildren, Paige, Yana, Val, Isaac and Hailu. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Weaver and her husband Henry C. Kraft, Jr.
She was born on February 10, 1925 in West Pittston, PA. She grew up as a farm girl in the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania and graduated from Dallas Township High School in 1942. She attended the business school at Wyoming Seminary and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She married Henry and moved to Maryland. She worked as a budget analyst at the Ballistics Research Laboratory at APG for many years after settling in Bel Air in 1960’s. She was a charter member and a very active volunteer at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Bel Air. She enjoyed square dancing with the Starlighters Square Dance Club.
A private graveside burial will take place in Dallas, PA.
