DOROTHY A. MICICHE, age 85, of Bel Air, and a resident of Sebring, FL for 22 years, died on January 4, 2006 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Baltimore to the late George Washington Collenberg, Jr., and Letitia Elizabeth Smith Collenberg, she was the wife of the late Joseph F. Miciche. Mrs. Miciche was a social worker for the Red Cross, and had worked for the Sebring (FL) News Sun for 12 years. While living in Sebring, she was an active member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, where she also served as an usher. She was active in the Girl Scouts, American Red Cross in Harford County, and was an active member of the Quota Club in Baltimore. She enjoyed volunteering for Meals for Wheels, crocheting, and traveling with her family.
Mrs. Miciche is survived by two daughters, Marie Milanoski of Bel Air, Susan Miciche of Wheaton, MD; four grandchildren, Denise Miciche of Baltimore, Bradley J. Milanoski of Lyles, TN, Adam C. Milanoski of Edgewood, and Rebecca M. Gallo of Havre de Grace; two great-grandsons; and one great-great grandson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Joseph William Miciche; and three sisters.
