Doris V. Stemler

DORIS V. STEMLER, age 89, of Towson, MD, formerly of Bel Air, died on August 8, 2007 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Jennie Gettier Unglaub and wife of the late Gordon H. Stemler. She came to Harford County in 1951 and lived in Wakefield Meadows until 2005. A member of Bel Air United Methodist Church since 1957, she was a member of the choir for 25 years. She worked for Ward and Bosely for ten years as their accountant. An avid fan of the Orioles, Terps, and Ravens, she enjoyed reading and traveling.

Mrs. Stemler is survived by her son, Neil Stemler and his wife, Mary, of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Linda J. Stein and her husband, Sam, of Apopka, FL, and Cynthia Ann Brennan and her husband, Tim, of Freehold, NJ; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and special friend, Pat Maas of Timonium, MD.
