Doris Perry, 83, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on January 5, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Winchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Scott Lane and Gladys Marguerite Newhouse Wilson, and wife, for 58 years, of the late Edward Joseph Perry. During her younger years, she loved gardening, swimming and horseback riding. She was an excellent mother who loved her family and to whom she was very dedicated. A very active person, she was friendly, kind and outgoing. She enjoyed being with people and going out to eat with friends. She was also an excellent seamstress and had an interest in art. She had taken courses in painting and did portraits and still life drawings.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her sons, William E. Perry and wife, Lynn, of Hedgesville, WV and Robert E. Perry of Princeton, NJ; daughter, Janice M. Sugarman and husband, Stephen, of Whiteford; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia A. Olson and her sister, Virginia Louanis.
