Doris Pauline Koegel

Doris Pauline Koegel, age 86, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on February 6, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of John Peter and Lula (Christ) Raab and was the wife of the late William Arthur Koegel Jr. She was a former member of St. Johns Sodality and enjoyed traveling, especially to Germany and Florida. She was an avid flower gardener who especially enjoyed working with dried flowers. "Dot" was a longtime familiar face at Glen Arm Lumber Company.

Mrs. Koegel is survived by her children, Patricia A. Hack and husband, Elmer, of Kingsville, William P. Koegel Sr. and wife, Marian, of Delta, PA and Susan J. Norman and husband, Steve, of Street; siblings, James Raab of Bel Air, Louise Laudenklos of Perry Hall, Edwin Raab of Kingsville, Helen Woodward of Forest Hill and Alice Comes of Rosedale; grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Amanda, Jessica, Madelyn, Pete, J.R. and Katie; and great-grandchildren, Clark, James, Pierce, Harper and Tiernan. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her newborn son, Peter R. Koegel; daughter, Wendy Marie Carver, sisters, Martha Raab, Mildred Burton and Angela Kahl, and brothers, Peter Raab and Thomas Raab Sr.
