Doris E. Scholl

Doris E. Scholl, age 93, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on October 31, 2013 at her home. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Maynard and Mabel May Hedrick Grant and wife of the late Ray Edward Scholl. She was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church since 1956 and was their financial secretary for 18 years. She was also President of the Women's Society, a member of the choir and the Administrative Board, the Kitchen Chairwomen for six years, and participated in two Appalachian Work Camps to Henderson, KY. An avid fan for all sports, she enjoyed watching her sons and her grandchildren compete, as well as, cheering for college and professional teams. She was most proud of being a homemaker, a mother and a volunteer at her church.

Mrs. Scholl is survived by her sons, Ray Grant of PA and Gary Scholl and wife, Kathleen of Forest Hill; and grandchildren, Sarah, Emma and Anna Scholl. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Grant and sister, Bertha Grant.

Pallbearers will be Emma, Anna and Sarah Scholl, Matthew Neumann, Joseph Zahn and Thomas Murphy.
