Doris Cleo Buecker

Doris Cleo Buecker, age 86, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away peacefully on March 20, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Marion, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Ruby (Stoots) Haga and wife of the Albert Amos Buecker, Sr.

She grew up in Delta, PA with her extended family. She met her love of her life Al and built their family home in Bel Air, MD. Doris raised three children and worked at the local sewing factory, Harford County schools, and was a telephone switchboard operator for Forest Hill State Bank. She enjoyed gardening, water skiing, fishing, and her cabin on the Susquehanna River. She enjoyed going with her husband Al to area nursing homes playing music and entertaining the residents. She loved being at her cabin where she would fish, play games at night with her grandchildren and laugh with her family. Her favorite part of each day was watching the sunrise over the river.

She loved her church, St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory and volunteered every year at the fall festival and Christmas Bazaar.

In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her son, Albert Buecker, Jr.; two daughters, Linda Darlene Warner, Deborah Lynne Stewart; 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
