Dora Ennice Plitt

Dora Ennice Plitt, age 84, of Edgewood, Maryland went to be with the Lord February 7, 2021 at her home. Born in Magnolia, Maryland, she was the daughter of Oscar Monroe and Helen Virginia (Jones) Moxley and wife of the late Richard Charles Plitt. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family as family meant everything to her. In her younger days she enjoyed gardening, painting, playing the piano and traveling. She also loved volunteering in the church and bringing people to Jesus.

Dora is survived by her granddaughter, Heather Hawkins of Edgewood; three great grandchildren, Adrian Giles, and Jeffrey and Jazlyn Miller; and her four-legged companion, Cuddles.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Mark Gary Hawkins, brothers, Franklin, Otto, and Junior Moxley; and sister, Nina Stephens.
