Dora Ellen Cullum

DORA ELLEN CULLUM, age 78, of Street, MD, died on October 29, 2006 at Citizens Care Center, Havre de Grace, MD. Born on March 23, 1928 in Rose Hill, VA, she was the daughter of the late Murphy and Mollie Hensley and the wife, for 44 years, of the late Herbert Constance Cullum. She is a descendant of the founders of the Hensley Settlement in Kentucky. A long time resident of Harford County, she was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also worked at Bata Shoe Company, Ball Park Diner, Dublin Elementary School and Old Line Plastics. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cullum is survived by her sisters, Eva Mae Hooper of Bel Air, MD and Jenny Gibbons of Virginia; and a brother, Kenneth Hensley of Tazwell, TN. She is also survived by three sons and three daughters, Charles Edward Cullum and wife Sharon of Aberdeen, MD, John Wayne Cullum and wife Ellen of Darlington, MD, Bruce Constant Cullum of Aberdeen, MD, Frances Ellen Taylor and husband Steven of Edgewood, MD, Donna Lynn Gaultney and husband Tim of Joppa, MD, and Lisa M. Sidoti of Melbourne, FL; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by seven siblings, Sarah Jane Taylor, Joseph Allen Hensley, Liddy Ann Hensley, Robert Hensley, Sherman Hensley, Josie Wilson and Nannie Lee Levering.
