Donna Jean Sheppard Mitchum

Donna Jean Sheppard Mitchum, 64, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on February 13, 2025. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Nancy (Wagner) Hartman and the late Eugene Sheppard.

Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took immense pride in her family. She had a vibrant personality and a gift for conversation, making her a natural as a barmaid, where she shared stories, laughter, and wisdom with everyone she met. Her knowledge of music, gambling, and current events made her the life of any gathering.

Above all, Donna cherished her family. She raised her children to be strong, resilient men and found joy in spoiling her loved ones whenever she could. Her generosity, quick wit, and larger-than-life spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donna is survived by her sons, Ronnie Mitchum and his spouse Shelby, D.J. Mitchum and his girlfriend Taylor Sigai, Justin Mitchum, and his spouse Sandy; grandchildren, Austin Mitchum, Brandon Mitchum, Bryon Mitchum, Andrew Mitchum, Bristol Mitchum, Darren Mitchum, Jayson Mitchum, Vince Zebrowski, and Destiny Mitchum; great grandchildren, Hayden Mitchum, Carter Mitchum, Aria Mitchum, Cooper Mitchum; brothers, Brian Sheppard, Chris Hartman, Eugene Sheppard; sisters, Tracy Jacobs, Tina Ryan
