Donna Lee Higgins

DONNA LEE HIGGINS, age 63, of Abingdon, MD, died at Lorien Nursing Home, Columbia, MD on September 16, 2007. Born in Monticello, New York, she was the daughter of Marion Arlene Silvieus Hoyt of Fishkill, NY and the late Lee Carroll Crook. She received a B.A. from West Virginia Wesleyan University. For 15 years, she was an English teacher in Anne Arundel County. A resident of Harford County since 1974, she was in real estate as an associate, trainer, and manager in Harford and Baltimore Counties for 20 years. She was the Harford County Realtor of the Year in 1994.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Higgins is survived by her husband, John V. Higgins, Jr. of Abingdon, Maryland; a son, Dan Higgins of Massachusetts; two daughters, Kerry Higgins of Massachusetts and Amy Bowser of Manchester, Maryland; two brothers, Drew Crook of Arizona and Daane Crook of Massachusetts; a sister, Dawn Crook of Washington State; and a grandson, Liam Higgins of Massachusetts.
