Donna Lou Faircloth, age 83, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on February 29th, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland.
Born in the tiny town of Six Mile Run, Pennsylvania, she was one of eleven children of Victor and Mary (Mitchell) Wright. She and her husband, Carver Patrick Faircloth, spent nearly all their married life at their current home in Aberdeen. She attended New Life Community Church in Kingsville.
Donna was a devoted wife and mother. Caring for her home brought satisfaction and contentment. She loved flower gardening, and spring was her favorite season as she considered what she would plant. Cooking was another source of joy, not only because she enjoyed good food, but because it brought her loved ones together around the table. Her church family appreciated her cooking skills, especially her pies and desserts, during their monthly fellowship meals at New Life Community Church. She loved children and enjoyed being around the many young ones who are part of that church community.
Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Carver Patrick Faircloth, two sons, Michael Faircloth of Bel Air and Mark (Dawn) Faircloth of Havre de Grace, one granddaughter, Amber (Matt) Winemiller of Poulsbo, Washington, and three great-grandchildren, Brady, Layla, and Rowan.
