Donald V. Mccole

Donald V. McCole, 81, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 24, 2015 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late John Francis McCole and Kathleen Cecelia (McGill) McCole and husband of the late Dorothy Theresa (Damiani) McCole. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and during his entire professional career, he worked for Western Electric/AT&T for 37 years as an engineer in communications. He was a member of Amhranai Na Gaeilge, the Irishman's Chorale, and spent his retirement doting on his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. McCole is survived by his son, Steven R. McCole (Dawn) of Bel Air; daughters, Donna M. Norton (Jeff) of Spring, TX, Dianne R. Bowen of Millville, DE and Sheila M. Herring of Bel Air; brother, Patrick J. McCole Sr. (Anne) of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Barbara J. Mahon (Joseph) of Churchville, PA; sisters-in-law, Madeline "Cookie" Damiani of Bel Air and Antoinette "Toni" McCole of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, Shannon L. Blades of Sydney, Australia, Stephanie A. Blades of Baltimore, Cassandra L. Petralia (Anthony III) of Frankford, DE, Ryan P. Harrington, Chelsea E. Bowen, Cody J. Harrington, Cian A. McCole and S. Conal McCole all of Bel Air; great-grandchildren, Gavin A. Allen of Spring, TX, Jaidyn M. Walters of Street and Sienna R. Petralia of Frankford, DE; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Rev. John F. McCole, James B. McCole and Lawrence J. McCole Sr.
