Donald R. Bowie

Donald R. Bowie, age 82, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on December 22, 2017 at his home. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Donald Robert Bowie and Mildred (Feldkemp) Bowie. He was a Vietnam War veteran and had worked as a research chemist at APG Edgewood. He attended St. Stephen’s Catholic Church where he was a Head Usher. He was also a Boy Scout leader and Webelo Leader. He loved to cook, was a great griller and an avid Star Wars fan.

Mr. Bowie is survived by his wife, Maria G. Bowie; two daughters, Diana L. Bowie Gott Thomas and Lisa Marie Bowie; son, Donald (Sonia) R. Bowie, IV; three grandchildren, Jaime (Jennifer) Gott, Daniella Bowie and Alaina Bowie; and great grandchildren, Alicia Salvarola and Alexis Gott.
