Donald Perry Taylor

Donald Perry Taylor, age 65, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 29, 2014. Born in Thomaston, GA, he was the son of the late Perry Lovett Taylor and Sophie Eudine Herrington Taylor. He was a Maryland resident for most of his life, and after working almost 40 years for the federal government, he retired in 2009 as a Division Chief in the Northeast Region Civilian Personnel Operations Center and as the Region Staffing Proponent. He was an avid reader and devoted to the pursuit of knowledge. He also enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 36 years, Denise Q. Taylor; daughters, Ashley Taylor Swanson of Dallas, PA and Lindsay Claire Taylor of Alexandria, VA; brother, Benny Taylor of VA; sisters, Frances Beverly and Janet Purvis both of GA; and grandchildren, Elena Vianne Swanson and Leif Erland Taylor Swanson.
