A private service was held for the immediate family

Donald Owens, age 66, of Pasadena, Maryland passed away on March 30, 2020 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Born in Newport News, Virginia, he was the son of Sylvania Owens and the late Thomas Owens and husband of the late Patricia Owens. He enjoyed vintage cars, politics, reading, and socializing with friends at the Pit Stop Pub and Miss Shirley's Cafe.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Lisa Tribull; grandson, Andrew Tribull; four siblings, James Swigert, Richard Lowe, Katherine Umstot and Emmacarol Estep; and lifelong friends Denise Owens and John Rowe. In addition to his father and wife, he was preceded in death by siblings, Charles and Thomas Swigert and Constance Runk.

The education of his grandson, Andrew, was of utmost importance to him. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the John Hancock 529 College Plan of Andrew J. Tribull.
