Donald L. Peters

Donald L. Peters, age 87, of Street, MD, passed away on July 10, 2013 at Genesis Health Care in Elkton, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Clarence and Anna Foster Peters. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 194 in Rising Sun. He had worked as a Plant Foreman for Murray Corporation in Hunt Valley. A family man, he liked to attend all of his grandchildren's events. He loved bird watching, photography and enjoyed watching the Orioles and Ravens and he always found time to help others.

Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, Henrietta Peters; son, Blaine Peters and wife, Kimberly Groleau Peters, of Aberdeen; daughter, Dawn D. Teti and husband, Michael, of Rising Sun; grandchildren, Steven Peters, Melissa Teti, Kateri Peters and Michael Teti Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Earl Peters; and sister, Wilma Peters.
