Donald L. Joyce

DONALD L. JOYCE, age 76, of White Marsh, died at Gilchrist Center at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson on March 8, 2005. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Joseph Patrick, Sr. and Priscilla Burt Joyce. He had retired in 1990 from the Mars Supermarket where he worked as a manager. He was an avid NASCAR fan and collector. He loved caring for animals. His family said he was a devoted husband and family man. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Joyce is survived by his wife, Susie L. Pettry Joyce; two sons, Donald “Jeff” Joyce and his wife, Christy of Fawn Grove, PA; Gregory D. Joyce and his wife, Carol of White Marsh; one daughter, Linda S. Insley and her husband, Tom Insley, Jr. of Abingdon; and one grandson, Christopher J. Niblick of Bel Air. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Joseph P. Joyce, Jr.
