Donald M. Kranyak, age 80, of Fallston, MD, passed away on October 8, 2014 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air. Born and raised in Stamford, CT, he is the son of the late Michael and Mary Kostezak Kranyak. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and had worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years. A former resident of both Darien and Wilton, Connecticut, he lived in Harford County for three years. He was devoted to his family, was a sports enthusiast and loved boating and carpentry.
Mr. Kranyak is survived by his wife of 38 years, Theresa Russo Kranyak; son, Michael Frate of Norwalk, CT; daughter, Debbie Requa and husband, Bob, of Bel Air; brother, Michael Kranyak of Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Alison and Amanda Requa; nieces, Melanie Arfman and Christine Castle; and nephews, Michael Kranyak and Stephen Kranyak.
