Donald H. Whitehurst

Donald H. Whitehurst, age 77, of Churchville, MD, died on February 27, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Winchester and Margaret Ann Manner Whitehurst. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had owned and operated a pet store and hobby shop. A member of the VFW in Edgewood, MD, his family said he was a hard worker.

Mr. Whitehurst is survived by his wife, Della B. Whitehurst of Churchville, MD; children, Mike Whitehurst, Cindi Bolchoz, Daniel Whitehurst, and Todd Whitehurst; brother, Ronnie Whitehurst; grandchildren, Kasie Miller, Kristopher, Ryan, Renae, and Adam Whitehurst, Jeremy Bolchoz, Brent Whitehurst, Corey and Tyler Bolchoz; and great-grandchildren, Austin and Kody Whitehurst, Hannah and Shaina Miller, and Arianna Whitehurst. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Timothy Whitehurst.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
