Donald G. Hanna

Donald G. Hanna, age 77, of Bel Air, MD, died on September 24, 2009 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Renick, WV, he was the son of the late James Harry and Vera Givens Hanna. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served our country in the Korean War. A Harford County resident for 67 years, he retired after 20 years of service at the Maryland Transportation Authority. He was a member of Fork Christian Church in Kingsville, MD and enjoyed cooking and working on various projects that involved working with his hands.

Mr. Hanna is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances H. Hanna of Bel Air, MD; his son, Ronald L. Hanna and wife, Lu, of Abingdon, MD; daughters, Patricia C. Eldreth of Bel Air, MD and D. Lisa White and husband, Don, of Phoenix, MD; brothers, James H. "Bud" Hanna of Airville, PA and Ronald K. Hanna of Bel Air, MD; and grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin, Lauren, Megan, Shaina, Samuel and Ashley.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother John Paul Hanna.
