Donald C. Calder

DONALD C. CALDER, age 69, of Port Deposit, MD, died on November 22, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, he is the son of Hazel Wildason Wells of Bel Air, MD and the late William E. Calder. He retired in 1997 from Aberdeen Proving Ground where he worked for many years. He enjoyed sports, decoys, reading, and being outdoors.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters; Elaine Evans of Joppa, MD, Joan Calder of Forest Hill, MD, and Carolyn Wells-Auckland of Bel Air, MD; four nieces, Robin Brocato of Joppa, MD, Tammy Vanarsdale of Forest Hill, MD, Donna Archer of Baltimore, MD, and Donna Hayes of Louisiana; two grand-nephews, one grand-niece, and one great-grand-nephew. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, William “Buddy” Calder.

Pallbearers were William T. Hicks, Phil Brocato, Joseph Brocato, Scott Taylor, Terry Stancill and Ralph Rexroth.
