Dolores L. Edler

Dolores Louise Edler, age 89, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on December 8, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of John Carroll Carr and Mary Elizabeth (Allen) Carr and was the wife of the late Joseph H. Edler. She had retired after 31 years of service with C&P Telephone Company. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was active in the parish council, bingo fundraising, collection counting team and also had served as housekeeper at the parish house. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed traveling, both domestic and international, cruising, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Edler is survived by her sister, Agnes C. Johnson of Bel Air; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 14 siblings.
