Dolores Katherine Barton

DOLORES KATHERINE BARTON, age 73, of Abingdon, died in Harford Memorial Hospital on August 1, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Andrew George and Catherine Antoinette Czyryca Rupinski. In the late 1950’s she worked as a model for the Kirk-Stieff Company. Her family said she enjoyed her grandchildren and was an impeccable housewife, enjoyed cooking and taking care of her house.

Mrs. Barton is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Stanley Barton; one son, Kevin Barton and his wife, Susan Barton of Abington; one brother, Daniel T. Rupinski and his wife, Beverly Rupinski of Murietta, California; one sister, Bernadette Bergin and her husband, Daniel J. Bergin of Towson; a sister-in-law, Marie “Sissy” Clayton and her husband Earl Clayton of Galena, MD; two grandchildren, Sarah L. Barton and Stephen W. Barton, both of Abingdon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
