Dolores "Dede" T. Dolbow, age 81, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 27, 2014 at Lorien in Bel Air. She was born on September 24, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Howard Countess II and Beatrice Mynar Countess. She was the loving wife of the late Theodore Ernest "Ernie" Dolbow.
Dolores attended Catholic Schools in Baltimore and was a 1950 graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame. She was employed at Abbott Labs. She also sold Home Interiors and Avon products. After raising a family, Dolores returned to the workplace as an employee of the federal government at Aberdeen Proving Grounds until her retirement. Dolores and Ernie enjoyed camping and traveling.
Mrs. Dolbow is survived by her daughter, Therese Dolbow and husband, Gary Van Pelt of Baltimore; son, David Dolbow and wife, Karen, of Blue Ridge Summit, PA; daughter-in-law Sherry Dolbow of Abingdon, MD; grandchildren: Bradley Kinsel of Abingdon; Trisha Dolbow-Higgins of Edgewood; Amber and Jacob Dolbow of Abingdon; Timothy, Zachary and Meghan Dolbow of Blue Ridge Summit, PA ; and great-grandchild, Maia Higgins. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Howard Countess of San Antonio, TX and her son, Robert Howard Dolbow of Abingdon.
