Dolly May Staniec

DOLLY MAY STANIEC, age 85, of Abingdon, MD, died on June 2, 2006 at her home.

Born in Henryton, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Peter and Ethel Josephine Condon Hayes, and the wife of the late Steven C. Staniec.

She was a homemaker. Her family said that she was the caretaker of the entire family.

Mrs. Staniec is survived by two daughters, Sandra Angelica Harless of Glen Allen, VA and Sharleen Callahan of Abingdon, MD; one brother, Leo Elmer Hayes of Abingdon, MD; and two grandchildren, Steven Thomas Callahan, and his wife, Rebecca C. Callahan, of Joppa, MD and Patricia Dee Ann Callahan of Abingdon, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Stephen Michael Staniec.

Services were held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at the McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Abingdon with Deacon Richard J. Stine officiating. Interment was in the Aberdeen Proving Ground Cemetery.
