Diana Lillian Fitzgerald

Diana Lillian Fitzgerald, age 70, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on April 2, 2025, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson.

Born in Aberdeen, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Kridenoff) Travers and the beloved wife of the late James Fitzgerald.

Diana was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosedale. She had a vibrant spirit and a heart full of generosity. She loved playing Bingo, visiting the casino, trying her luck with scratch-offs, watching sunsets, walking along the beach, and taking long drives through scenic country roads. Sushi was one of her favorite treats, and she always enjoyed a good meal shared with loved ones.

Diana was a fun-loving, warm, and compassionate woman who consistently put others before herself. Even during times of financial hardship, she never hesitated to help those in need, offering support with both her heart and her resources.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Diana is survived by her son, Michael Bielas of Abingdon, MD; daughter Brandy Bielas, daughter-in-law, Crystal Tanner of Abingdon, MD; three brothers, Donald Travers, Tom Travers, Jesse Travers.
