Devonte Tyree Bundley, age 18, of Abingdon, MD, died on October 1, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Towanda L'Tonya Flowers McCoy of Abingdon, MD and the late Theodore Richard Bundley Jr. A 2010 graduate of Harford Technical High School, he had completed the 4 year carpentry program and was homecoming king in 2008. He was project manager for building a home for Habitat for Humanity, he was also president of the Boys to Men Club at Edgewood Middle School. A star athlete in basketball, football, track and field at Harford Tech, he also had played basketball and football for Emmorton Recreation.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Bundley is survived by his brother, Duane Goodman of Abingdon, MD; sisters, Alexis and Kayla McCoy of Abingdon, MD; stepfather, Rodney McCoy of Abingdon, MD; and grandparents, Dennis Flowers, Theodore Bundley Sr. and Evelyn Bundley all of Baltimore, MD and Lillie McCoy, of Maryland.
In addition to his father, Mr. Bundley was predeceased by grandparents Gwendolyn Flowers and Henry McCoy, of Baltimore.
