Devel Kenyatta Gray, age 52, of Churchville, Maryland passed away on July 22, 2023, in Churchville, MD. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, he was the son of Mary (Washington) Gray and the late Herman Gray, son of Antonio Rubio, and husband to Renee (Schylaske) Gray. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had a love for motorcycles, and he enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends. Devel loved life and lived it to the fullest. His smile and laugh would light up the room. You could always find him roaming his property with his dog Bella by his side.
In addition to his wife Devel is survived by his daughters, Emilee Gray, Pilaura Armstrong, and Cheyenne Herd; son, Joseph A. Schylaske; brothers, Vidal Baraka Gray, Sr., and Hector Gray; nephews, Vidal Baraka Gray, Jr., Devynn Brown, Jaidyn Blades, Conner Livingston, and Hunter Livingston; grandsons, Jaxon Litchfield, and Jose Ramon Cardenas III; close friends, Torrick Pearson, Jay Greene, Shannon Gettier, Ken Barnett, and Veedera Wilson; cousin Mario Ferrill; grandparent, lee Dora Gray; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and a beloved dog, Bella.
