Derald Howard Guess

DERALD HOWARD GUESS, age 37, of Edgewood, Maryland, died in Edgewood on December 8, 2004. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Gladys Guess of Philadelphia and the late George Allen Guess, Sr. He served his country in the U.S. Army. A resident of Harford County, Maryland for 3 years, he was a member of the New Covenant Church of God, Bel Air, Maryland. He enjoyed reading and writing. He ministered to troubled youth on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Guess is survived by his wife of 15 years, Michelle J. Williams Guess; five sons, Shamaar T. Guess; Michael A. Guess; Derald J. Guess; David D. Guess; Malachi M. Guess; four daughters, Michelle N. Guess; Janay T. Guess; Nicole S. Guess; and Jubilee D. Guess, all of Edgewood, Maryland; one brother, George A. Guess, Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and mother-in-law, Adella R. Williams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
