Denny Frederickson Graves

Denny Frederickson Graves, age 82, of Parkville, MD, died on December 14, 2009 at his home. Born in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Forest G. and Elizabeth Conrad Graves. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country during WWII. He grew up in Louisville, KY and worked, for 34 years, as a railroad freight conductor for Pennsylvania Railroad, which later changed to Conrail. He loved animals and had worked for Bishop's Pet Shop in the 1960's. He enjoyed country music and was a member of the Mason Lodge in Baltimore City.

Mr. Graves is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gretta Delores Wright Graves; daughters, Dianne E. Estep of Street, MD, Deborah J. Graves and Patti A. Draayer, both of Parkville, MD; sisters, Jean Howard of El Paso, TX and Joan Harris of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Jennifer Deets of Baltimore, MD, Jeff Estep of Bel Air, MD, Christina Draayer of Parkville, MD, Greg Estep of Port Deposit, MD, and Lori Estep of Bel Air, MD; and great-grandchildren, Ryan M. Deets of Baltimore, MD and Kodi B. Estep of Bel Air, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Lonnie Graves and William R. Graves; and grandson, Joshua F. Bevans.
