Dennis Ford Miller, age 69, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024. Born in Baltimore, he was the beloved son of the late James and Marion (Wayne) Miller. Dennis was the devoted husband of Jacquelyn Miller, with whom he shared 40 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story began in Baltimore, where they lived just around the corner from one another, and from the moment they met, Dennis adored her with all his heart.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Dennis served his country with honor. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 39, where he formed deep bonds and upheld the values of service and community.

Known affectionately as "Pop Pop" by his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dennis treasured every moment spent with them. His love for his family was boundless, and he was always a steady, guiding presence. To Dennis, family was everything, including the dogs, and he dedicated his life to their happiness and well-being. Everyone truly loved Pop Pop so much!

Dennis had a kind and generous spirit that touched everyone who knew him. Whether it was helping a neighbor mow their lawn or lending a hand to a stranger in need, Dennis never hesitated to go above and beyond. His selflessness, compassion, and unwavering dependability were admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His children and grandchildren knew him as their rock, a source of wisdom and unconditional love. He was always giving and ensuring that his family came first.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community, but his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his daughter, Malisa Smith and her husband Steve; son, Gregory Locklear and his wife Jennifer; brother, George Miller and his wife Darlene; sisters, Lydia Tolodziecki, and Barbara Reaves; grandchildren, Ray Fadeley, Tyler Fadeley, Colleen Gilotte, Taylor Locklear, Emma Locklear; three step-grandchildren, Jenn Smith, Nicole Simmons, and Cody Smith; great grandchildren, Weston Gilotte, and Logan Gilotte.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by brothers, Art Miller, and James Miller.
