Della Belanger Napfel

Della Belanger Napfel, age 84, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on May 21, 2021 at her home. Born in Caribou, Maine, she was the daughter of Emile and Fabiola Belanger. She received her B.A. from the University of Maine and taught for 12 years with Harford County Public Schools at William Paca/Old Post Elementary School. Della was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was the coordinator of religious education and CCD classes. She also belonged to the Red Hat Society.

Della is survived by her husband of 66 years, Henry Napfel; sons, Blake Napfel (Linda) and Brian Napfel (Lori); grandchildren, Timothy Napfel, Catherine Napfel, Alexus Thomas, Joshua Pilachowski, and Tobias Pilachowski; and siblings Candace Belanger, Melinda Hess, Arnold Ray Belanger, Alva Bylo, Linda Lusardi and Val Belanger.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchild, Michel Carole Pilachowski and 7 siblings.
