Deborah Lynn Thompson

Deborah Thompson, age 68, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Hubert and Margaret (Perry) Anderson, and the devoted wife of the late John Thompson.

Deborah cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. A lifelong animal lover, she shared her home and heart with many dogs and cats over the years. Deborah also found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—cheering on the Ravens (only when they won!), enjoying Thrashers fries during trips to the beach, and relaxing with her favorite TV shows.

Deborah’s warmth, humor, and love for those around her will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Deborah is survived by her sons, Thomas (Jamie) Thompson of Street, MD, Jereme (Heather) Thompson, John (Jill) Thompson of Delta, PA; grandchildren, Thomas Thompson Jr., Taylor Stanowski, Jacob Thompson, Ava Thompson, Ali Thompson, Colton Thompson; great grandchildren, Brynlee Wright.

In addition to her husband and parents, Deborah was preceded in death by brother, Hubert Archer Anderson, Jr.
