Deborah L. Hess

Deborah L. Hess, 64, of Churchville, MD passed away on January 15, 2016 at her home. Born in Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of the late Stewart Phillips and Nina Regina (Jones) Phillips. A homemaker, she loved gardening and always had a big garden. She also loved cooking, canning and making jellies. She enjoyed being outside, camping, fishing and watching eagles and vultures. She cared for 15 foster children. She loved her family to death and always put everyone else first.

Mrs. Hess is survived by her husband, Walter B. Hess; daughters, Ashley Nicole Hess and Renee Alexandra Hess both of Churchville; sisters, Martina Rebert of Delaware and Fran Grenzebach of Florida.
