Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Dahl-Young, age 56, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on October 20, 2023 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland after a courageous battle with Kidney Cancer. Born in South Bend, Indiana, Debbie was the daughter of Harry and Patricia Dahl. Her stepparents were Linda Dahl and William Shurlknight. Debbie and her husband were attendees of Mountain Christian Church.
Debbie is survived by her father and stepparents; husband, William F. “Buddy” Young; daughter, Madelyn S. Morehead; two brothers, Michael (Jennifer) Dahl and Daniel Dahl; step-daughter, Megan (Steve) Pollhammer; step-son, Ryan (Margette) Young; two step-grandchildren, Luke Pollhammer and Jack Pollhammer; two nephews, Michael (Heather) Dahl and Jacob (Hannah) Dahl; two nieces, Jamie (Sam) Dahl-Oldhouser and Danielle (Brandon) Dahl; sister-in-law Shari Dahl; and her precious puppy, Hershey.
Debbie was a graduate of Joppatowne High School, University of Maryland College Park (B.A.Sc. Business) and University of Baltimore (Master of Business Administration). She had a successful professional career in the Employee Benefits industry.
Kind, generous and always surrounded by loving family and friends, Debbie lived a fun-filled life with a passion for the beach, boating, jet skiing, live music, dancing, traveling, reading, attending Maddie’s sporting events and snuggling with Maddie, Buddy and Hershey.
