Deborah Anne Hauck

DEBORAH A. HAUCK, age 42, of Abingdon, MD, died on June 11, 2006 at her home. Born in Williamsport, PA, she was the daughter of Suzanne Jane Otto Hartsock of Williamsport, PA and Paul Edward Hartsock of Montoursville, PA. She was dedicated to her job as the executive director of the part-time engineering programs at the Whiting School of Engineering of the Johns Hopkins University. She was a graduate of Loyalsock Township High School, earned her B.A. degree from Lycoming College and her Masters of Science in Education degree from the Johns Hopkins University. Her family said that she enjoyed music, especially playing the flute, traveling, cross-stitching and reading. She was a member of the Edgewood Assembly of God Church where, along with her husband, she was an integral part of the music ministry.

Mrs. Hauck is survived by her husband, Neil Hauck of Abingdon, MD; one sister, Wendy L. Polk, and her husband, Randy, of Salisbury, MD; one niece, Kayla Elizabeth Polk of Salisbury, MD; and one grandmother, Ina Otto of Montoursville, PA. Through her marriage to Neil, she was a loving sister-in-law and aunt to six nieces and two nephews.
