Debbie Van Valkenburg Macias

DEBBIE VAN VALKENBURG MACIAS, age 40, of Darlington, died in Stella Maris Hospice on February 21, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edgar James Van Valkenburg and the late Lynn Anne Scholl. She was a very devoted mother to her son. A horse groomer, she had worked with animals for 25 years. She loved horses and animals of all kinds. She enjoyed the beach and outdoors.

Mrs. Macias is survived by her husband, José C. Macias; one son, Christian Isiah Macias of Darlington; one brother, Michael J. Van Valkenburg of Bear, Delaware; one sister, Kimberly A. Gengler and her husband, Jeffrey Gengler of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania; two nephews, J. Michael Gengler and Shane A. Gengler, both of Fawn Grove, PA.
