David Henry Thacker

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, David was the son of Irene (Kraft) Thacker-McCormick and the late Paul Thacker. He worked as a Yard Jockey for many years at Frito-Lay, where he was cherished by his colleagues.
David had a passion for being near the water, whether fishing, crabbing, or enjoying the view. He loved spending his days off in Delaware with his mother and family around. Over the years, David’s fierce loyalty and love for his family was a cornerstone in supporting the family during difficult times. He was always the first to show up when his family needed help. David’s sense of humor and jokester ways kept those around him laughing.
David is survived by his son, Elliott (Taylor) Thacker; his sisters, Joyce Wolfe (late John), Donna Gerbrick, and Pauline Thacker; his brothers, John (Kimberly) Thacker and Doug Thacker; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. He is also survived by his beloved Frito-Lay family.
David was preceded in death by his father, Paul Thacker.
David’s passing comes as a great shock and is felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him. David will be deeply missed by many.
