David Streett

David Streett, age 79, of Streett, Maryland passed away on November 18, 2023.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mildred (Ayres) Streett and husband of 58 years to Irene “Jenny” (Rutledge) Streett. He was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church. He was employed by Transdev as a mechanic for 16 years and was an ASE Certified Mechanic.  Prior to that, he was employed by Michel Distribution for 29 years. In his early years, he worked for his father at Streett Service Station. He enjoyed working on small engine and lawnmower repair, playing in horseshoe tournaments, and bowling leagues. He was recently recognized for years of service by county councilman Chad Shrodes.  
      
In addition to his wife David is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Will) Wallace; grandchildren, Heather King, and Justin King; brother, Jerry (Linda) Streett; niece, Jenna Streett; sister-in-law, Joyce Sitzes; nephew, Adam Sitzes; step-grandchildren, Bill, and Heather Wallace; and great-nieces and nephews.
