David Ray Dehart

David Ray DeHart, age 73, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on January 24, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Welch, WV, he was the son of Elmer and Hilda (Hopkins) DeHart and husband of 45 years to Linda Gael (Denny) DeHart of Aberdeen.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he worked over 30 years at Phillips Army Airfield as a helicopter mechanic, eventually becoming Director of Maintenance. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was very devoted to his family.

In addition to his wife, Mr. DeHart is survived by sons, Christopher D. DeHart (Gianna) of Oxford, PA and Scott E. DeHart (Lauren) of Landenberg, PA; grandchildren, Avery, Morgan, Connor, Alyssa, and Adelyn.
