David Montague Lockette

David Montague Lockette, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on May 17, 2012 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air, MD. Born in Bowie, MD, he was the son of the late Henry and Annie E. Downs Lockette. He served our country in World War II as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. A resident of Harford County for 20 ½ years, he loved to garden and especially grow tomatoes. He and his wife were both members of the NRA and enjoyed shooting. He also loved to take pictures and go fishing.

Mr. Lockette is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Elizabeth Lockette (nee Dare); son, Michael Edward Lockette of Bel Air, MD; and grandson, David Jason Lockette of Columbia, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, David Terry Lockette and three sisters.
