David Mark Bogusko

August 9, 1948 — November 26, 2018

David Mark Bogusko, age 70, of Bel Air, MD passed away on November 26, 2018 at him home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA he was the son of the late Edward Anthony and Helen (Goobic) Bogusko. He was an avid golfer, reader and sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles, Maryland Terrapins and soccer. He could often be heard “announcing” games and saying to his family, “See it’s not a hard job!”

Dave graduated from Dulaney High School (1966), Wilkes College where he played soccer and lacrosse and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology (1970) and Towson University with a M.A. in School Psychology (1973). He served in the Marine Corps Reserve from 1970 to 1976. He worked as a school psychologist in the Harford County Public School system for 32 years.

He will be remembered by his friends and family as an avid “foodie”, excellent cook and loving grandfather. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne; son Peter; daughter Sarah and husband Matthew Yencha; grandchildren, Lukas, Audrey, Gideon, and Emilia; sister Lea and husband John Packard and their son Matthew; and many cousins including John Goobic III.
