DAVID LEE HUSK, SR., age 58, of Abingdon, MD, died on May 24, 2006 at the Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium, MD. Born in Parkersburg, WV, he was the son of Lee R. Husk of Abingdon, MD and the late Arrietta Mae Blosser Husk. He was a commercial and residential painter. His family said that he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, going to the race track and watching his son play baseball.
In addition to his father, Mr. Husk is survived by his wife, Ellen M. Covahey Husk of Abingdon, MD, with whom he lived for 23 years; one son, Daniel L. Husk of Baltimore, MD; a son from a previous marriage, David L. Husk, Jr., of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Linda A. Husk and Crystal Stinchcomb, both of Baltimore, MD; one brother, S. Glen Husk of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Barbara E. Valenza of Abingdon, MD; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a daughter, Janet L. Howard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Daniel L. Husk Memorial Fund, c/o Provident Bank, 645 S Philadelphia Blvd., Aberdeen, MD 21001.
